Reform Beyondism is defined by this organization using this mouthpiece website. The main Reform Beyondism organization is called the “Parent Coven”. The Parent Coven sets standards for all Reform Beyondists. The Parent Coven encourages all Beyondist groups to apply their own version of Beyondism to create their own societies under the Parent Coven called “Sibling Covens”. While Sibling Covens have broad jurisdiction over how to run their societies, the Parent Coven does have some rules which must be followed in order to stay “within covenant” with the Parent Coven.
Where do these rules come from? These rules are not revealed by any god but are simply common sense and reason for maintaining a healthy and functioning society. There have been thousands of societies which have tried different forms of governing structure and we can learn from these societies in knowing which laws are necessary for a lasting society. For example, societies that do not outlaw murder and theft will have social trust issues that can lead to collapse. Below is a list of what we call “Unrevealed Law”, laws which the Parent Coven have deemed to be necessary for a functioning society. To be in covenant with the Parent Coven, Sibling Covens must uphold these laws in their districts. Covens that do not uphold Unrevealed Law are called “Criminal Covens” and are outside the Reform Beyondist Covenant. These Criminal Covens are allowed to exist in their own districts to serve as an example for those who do not follow Unrevealed Law and are expected to collapse. This list will be added to frequently so please check back occasionally. The Unrevealed Laws define who is in covenant with the Parent Coven and who is not.
